Suzy and Hondo dance students earn medals

Suzy and Jon Langhout of Suzy and Hondo Dance Studios recently led nine students through round two of the Bronze Medal Exams on the Dance Vision International Dance Association Curriculum.

During the exam process men and women tested with Suzy and Hondo Langhout partnering. Each examinee performed between two and six figures of up to six ballroom dances, including: foxtrot, tango, waltz, cha-cha, rumba, mambo, Viennese waltz or merengue. Overseeing the process was DVIDA National Examiner Scott Anderson of Minneapolis.

Completing the exam process were Barry Albert Nelson, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba, cha-cha and east coast swing - Level 2 Bronze; Kyle Johnson, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, east coast swing, cha-cha and rumba - Level 2 Bronze; Jacob Moore honors in waltz, foxtrot, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba - Level 1 Bronze; Rebecca Johnson, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba - Level 2 Bronze; Jennifer Cole, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba, cha-cha, and east coast swing -Lead and Follow - Level 2 Bronze; Jessie Fisher, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba, cha-cha and east coast swing - Levels 1 and 2 Bronze; Tia Langhout, honors and high honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, rumba, cha-cha and east coast swing - Level 2 Bronze; Bethany Anderson, honors in foxtrot, waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, rumba, cha-cha and east coast swing; and Christine Cummings, honors in foxtrot, rumba - Level 1 Bronze.
