Suspects identified in Bagley High School bomb threat case

The Clearwater County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday that it has "apprehended and detained" two juveniles in connection to the bomb threat made this week against Bagley High School.

Due to their ages, data privacy laws prohibit the release of further information, the Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

At about 7:52 a.m. Monday, the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office received a report of a bomb threat at Bagley High School, according to a previous press release from Clearwater County Attorney Jeanine Brand. Students and staff members were dismissed from Bagley High School and Bagley Elementary School as a result of the threat.

Law enforcement officers conducted a search of the high school and determined the threat to be false, according to the release.

Classes resumed on Tuesday.

Bomb threats are felony-level crimes in Minnesota.
