The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest Thursday. He had not been charged in the case as of Thursday afternoon.

The Pioneer does not generally name those accused of crimes until the suspect has been charged.

Officers responded to the reported bank robbery about 5:35 p.m. Friday in Akeley, according to a previous press release. The robber, dressed in camouflage, apparently brandished a handgun to tellers.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled by vehicle.

Assisting the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office are the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehensive and the FBI.
