Smith Graduates from Mercer University
MACON Ga. -- Alison Smith, of Nevis, earned a doctor of medicine degree from Mercer University during the School of Medicine spring commencement. Smith is serving a residency in emergency medicine at University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City following graduation.
Froehlich graduates from Illinois college
CHICAGO Ill. -- Hannah Froehlich of Bemidji was awarded the doctor of optometry degree by the Illinois College of Optometry during its commencement ceremony on May 17. Froehlich graduated summa cum laude and plans to complete a one-year residency program at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, N.M.
Zug graduates from NDSCS
WAHPETON, N.D. -- Michael Zug of Bemidji was recently award an associate of applied science degree from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. His program of study was information and communications technology, information systems administrator.
Walters receives scholarship from UND
GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Emmalee Walters of Bemidji received the Outstanding High School Leadership Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2014-2015 academic year. Walters, the daughter of Demise Semke and Ross Walkers, graduated from Bemidji High School and plans attend the University of North Dakota in the fall.
