Claypool graduates from Northwestern
Local students named to dean’s list
BEMIDJI — The following students were named to the fall semester dean’s list at University of Northwestern. The dean’s list includes full-time students with a grade point average during the semester of 3.65 or higher. Brittany Anderson, daughter of Todd & Beth Anderson of Bemidji, awarded with Highest Honors. Anderson is pursuing a degree in Nursing at Northwestern.
Megan Claypool, of Bemidji, awarded with Highest Honors. Claypool is pursuing a degree in English at Northwestern.
Farley honored as outstanding major
BEMIDJI — Ann Farley, a BSU student, will be honored as outstanding exercise science major of the year by the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding undergraduate students majoring in any health, physical education, recreation, dance, sport, kinesiology, exercise science or physical wellness related program at their college or university. All winners were nominated by their university.

Shindelar named to dean’s list
BEMIDJI — Rebecca A. Shindelar of Bemidji has been named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University for fall semester. Shindelar is junior majoring human services (social studies).
The dean’s list recognizes students that achieve a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
