State’s poverty rate remains stable

ST. PAUL – New census data showing Minnesota’s median household income improving by 10 percent from 2010 to 2011 may not be accurate, the state’s demographer said this week.

Median household income was $57,820 in 2011 – the highest it’s been since 2007, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey.
