Starbuck woman charged with first-degree murder in boy’s death
GLENWOOD — A Pope County grand jury has indicted a Starbuck woman on a first-degree murder charge in the death of a 4-year-old boy.
The grand jury issued indictments Nov. 14 against Amanda Lea Peltier, 32, on charges of first-degree murder while committing child abuse and second-degree murder while committing malicious punishment of a child.
