St. Patrick Day events planned

Brigid's Cross Irish Pub will host St. Patrick Day's specials and entertainment beginning at noon Wednesday, March 17, at 317 Beltrami Ave.

Events will include a corned beef and cabbage lunch beginning at noon, followed by musical entertainment by Wayne Hoff from 2-4 p.m.

An all-you-can-eat St. Patrick's Day buffet will be held from 5-8 p.m. which will include corned beef and cabbage, Guinness beef stew, colcannon, Irish soda bread, brown bread and bread pudding. The Highland Bagpipers will provide music throughout the evening.

The World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Keg N' Cork and will conclude at Brigid's Cross. Registration is still available for individuals or groups who wish to participate in the parade.

The band Hippies and Whisky will take the stage from 8 p.m.-midnight.
