Spring tree forms now available

The Beltrami Soil and Water Conservation District has posted the 2012 Spring Tree Program form on its website at www.beltramiswcd.org. Forms may also be picked up at Beltrami County Environmental Services at 701 Minnesota Ave., Suite 113, or by contacting Kathy Ruzica at 333-4158.

Low-cost trees and shrubs are available for purchase through the tree program by landowners for use in conservation practices including habitat improvement, windbreaks, shelterbelts, erosion control, water quality protection and energy conservation projects. Twenty-one species of hardwoods and conifers, and sixteen species of shrubs are available.
