Spots open for swim lessons at BSU

BEMIDJI - Several spots remain open for summer swimming lessons at Bemidji State University's Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center.

Level 1 classes are full, but Levels 2 through 5 are accepting participants. Lessons begin June 5 and continue until Aug. 2.

Swimming lessons are taught by trained water safety instructors and follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Level 2 lessons provide fundamental aquatic skills. Level 3 focuses on stroke development, Level 4 on stroke improvement. Level 5 focuses on stroke refinement.

Cost is $55 per session. For more information and to register, call Duane at the Gillett Center at 755-4140.
