Annie Schrader Spargo of Turtle Lake Township celebrated her 100th birthday Oct. 2. Family and friends gathered at Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji to celebrate the milestone.
Present were all three of her children, their spouses and other friends and family. Annie and James Spargo moved from Minneapolis to Three Island Lake in 1946. A graduate of Bemidji State University, Annie taught Spanish in Walker and International Falls.
