Span caps big rally for Twins in 12th inning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Joe Mauer matched a career high with five hits and Denard Span singled home the go-ahead run in the 12th inning, sending the Minnesota Twins to a 9-7 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Saturday night.
