Solheim, Hovet are pageant runners-up

BEMIDJI – The Miss Northern Lakes and Miss Northern Lakes Teen competitions were Oct. 13 in Bemidji.

Announced as Miss Northern Lakes was Kayla Brown, daughter of Ian and Karen Brown of Moorhead. Maggie Wothe, daughter of Jay and Tammy Brown, was crowned Miss Northern Lakes Outstanding Teen.
First runner-up for the Miss pageant was Amber Solheim of Bemidji; first runner-up for the teen pageant was Sage Hovet, also of Bemidji. Both pageants are official local pageants for the Miss America Organization.
