SOFTBALL: BSU games postponed again

BEMIDJI — The BSU softball team is still waiting to play its home opner.

The Beavers’ Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference home doubleheader, originally scheduled Thursday afternoon against Minnesota Duluth has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions at the BSU Softball Field.

As of Thursday night the game did not appear to be rescheduled.

Until BSU’s softball field is playable, the Beavers have also rescheduled their home games scheduled for this weekend in Bemidji.

On Saturday the Beavers will travel to Marshall for a twin bill against Southwest Minnesota State at 2 p.m.

On Sunday BSU will take on Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D. for a noon doubheleader.

An earlier home doubleheader against Minnesota-Crookston scheduled for April 8 was already moved.

The Beavers are currently 11-15 overall and 0-10 in conference play.
