Snow removal continues along Bemidji streets

BEMIDJI - Public works crews plan to continue snow removal after midnight tonight and Thursday night.

The work could extend into Friday morning on the following streets:

- Fifth Street Northwest to 15th Street Northwest on Irvine Avenue Northwest

- Norton Avenue Northwest to Birchmont Avenue Northwest on 15th Street Northwest

- 15th Street Northwest to 17th Street Northwest and Birchmont Drive Northwest

Vehicle owners are asked to observe calendar parking and allow crews to clean up snow.

According to a news release, public works crews reported that attention to parking regulations has "helped them immensely in the clean up job" this week.
