Snow expected tonight in the region
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather advisory for eastern North Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota, with a good chance for snow tonight in the region.
Light snow is expected to spread into the area tonight and Thursday morning, mixing with rain at times. Total accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible, especially south of U.S. Highway 2.
Warmer and drier weather is expected to move in for the weekend.

Wednesday night: A chance of rain and snow before 10pm, then snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 32. East southeast wind between 5 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Thursday: A chance of snow before 1pm, then a chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 39. East southeast wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 1am, then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday: A chance of snow before 1pm, then a chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Northwest wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
