Slumberland provides new beds for needy
BEMIDJI – Slumberland Furniture stores, including the one in Bemidji, will donate new beds to families this year through its annual Making Homes for the Holidays program.
In December, Slumberland Furniture plans to donate about 2,000 mattress and box spring sets to nonprofit partners throughout the communities it serves.
This week, the Bmeidji store plans to deliver 10 mattress to needy families throughout the area.
“For far too many families, a warm bed has become a luxury,” said John Reff, manager for the Bemidji Slumberland. “With Making Homes for the Holidays, Slumberland is working to ensure that everyone in our communities gets a healthy nights’ sleep.”
