Skoe chosen to lead Senate Tax Committee

ST. PAUL – State Senator Rod Skoe (DFL – Clearbrook) has been selected by his colleagues to lead the Senate Tax Committee for the 2013-14 legislative session.

The newly-elected DFL majority in the state senate met for the first time Wednesday, electing the five highest leadership posts in the caucus. Sen. Skoe has been a member of the Tax Committee for several years and formerly led the Property Tax Division.

The 2013 Legislative Session will convene at noon on Jan. 8, 2013, at which time Sen. Skoe and other Senate Majority Caucus leaders will officially assume office.
