SKIING: Bemidji boys second at Alexandria meet

ALEXANDRIA – Bemidji placed second of five teams in the boys varsity race at Saturday’s Alexandria ski invitational while the girls were fifth of six teams.

Brainerd took the boys title with 14 points while the Jacks had 34.

Individually, Tony Sagedahl was fifth and Kyle Sagedahl sixth. Billy Freyholtz was ninth, Josh Claussen placed 14th, Nate Molnar 26th, Austin Chatterton 30th and Sam Sharpe 37th.

In the girls varsity, Little Falls won with 30 points. Bemidji tallied 90 and TrekNorth was fourth with 75.

Leading the Lumberjacks was Morgan Sagedahl who placed sixth.

Atomic Thorson was 23rd and Maari Stocker 25th.

TrekNorth was paced by Hannah Marty who finished 10th. Maddy Hawkins was 20th, Sarah Hamrin 21st and Maddy Treuer 24th.
