BEMIDJI – More than 30 signs supporting the marriage amendment were removed and damaged late Wednesday or early Thursday morning from outside St. Philip’s Church in Bemidji.
Robb Naylor, the parish captain for the marriage amendment, said the signs were taken down and shredded.
This marks at least the third time that St. Philip’s has had signs damaged that supported the marriage amendment. First, a large sign was torn down in early September. In mid-October, more than a dozen lawn signs were found burned and scattered while a large sign was damaged with spray paint.
