Shriner roll-over victim identified

The driver of the antique Shriner truck roll-over accident on Friday, Sept. 11, has been identified.

Kenneth Leroy Hausauer, 84, of Bemidji, was injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident at 10:17 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Division Street and Adams Avenue Northwest.

According to the Beltrami County Sheriffs' Office:

The antique fire truck flipped on County Road 7 while attempting to turn north onto County Road 11, trapping Hausauer under the vehicle until help arrived. A passerby helped extract Mr. Hausauer from under the vehicle.

He was rushed to North Country Regional Hospital by Bemidji Ambulance and flown to Hennepin County Medical Center, not Fargo, N.D., as previously mentioned.

His medical condition has not been released.
