Shooting: Todavich places 15th at state trap shoot
PRIOR LAKE -- Chase Todavich of Bemidji hit 95 of 100 clay targets during the state clay target tournament at the Minneapolis Gun Club on Saturday and finished tied for 15th in the inaugural state shoot.
Gust Lundeen of Dassel-Cokato won the state championship by hitting 99 of his 100 targets. Colton Sherman of Brandon-Evansville, Hunter Hedtke of Monticello, Jona Friesen of Detroit Lakes and Tommy Mavencap of St. Michael-Albertville each hit 98 targets.
Bemidji's Seth Perkins hit 83 clay targets and finished 82nd in the 90-shooter field.
Buffalo won the team title as its 5-shooter team hit 489 out of a possible 500 targets. Monticello was second with 483, St. Michael-Albertville third with 480, Holy Family fourth with 476 and Wayzata fifth with 474.
