Sheriff’s Report
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following reports:
Accident
10:44 p.m. Friday, Cardinal Road and Blue Mayflower. Vehicle slid into ditch while northbound on Cardinal Road. A stop sign was damaged. No injuries reported.
Disturbing the peace
10:41 p.m. Friday, Alps Court Northwest.
Suspicious
9:57 p.m. Friday, Beltrami County Fairgrounds. Report of suspicious vehicle on the fairgrounds. Unable to locate.
8:24 p.m. Friday, Blackduck. Report of a suspicious male individual.
Assault
9:35 p.m. Friday, Pintail Lane Northeast. An assault was reported.
6:37 p.m. Friday, Patriot Drive Northwest. A male individual was issued a citation for fifth-degree assault against another male individual.
Theft
9:21 p.m. Friday, Hines. Deputies determined that a person who had received someone else’s mail had done so by accident. No further action.
Littering
9:13 p.m. Friday, U.S. Highway 2 and Adams Avenue Northwest. A written warning was given to a passenger for littering a cigarette butt.
Drugs
9:09 p.m. Friday, Supreme Court Northwest. A citation was given for drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
6:52 p.m. Friday, First Street East. A female individual was removed from the area. She thought a different person lived at a residence.
Harassment
2:44 p.m. Friday, Solway. Ongoing issue.
Burglary
9:21 a.m. Friday, Tomine Drive Northwest. Theft of items from detached garage within the past six weeks.
Warrant
1:07 p.m. Friday, Cass Lake. Leech Lake police arrested a male individual on a Beltrami County Warrant. The individual was taken to Beltrami County Jail.
Fire Report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following reports:
1:37 p.m. Saturday, 1800 block of Birchmont Drive. Fire alarm.
6:32 a.m. Saturday, Deputy Hall, Bemidji State University. Fire alarm.
10:45 p.m. Friday, Cardinal Road. Motor-vehicle accident. Canceled.
8:56 p.m. Friday, 1500 block of Bemidji Avenue North. Medical call.
