Semi versus snow plow collision occurs on U.S. Highway 2 in Polk County
The Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls reported that a non-injury collision occurred at 8:40 a.m. today between a 2011 Peterbilt semi and a state snow plow on U.S. Highway 2 at the junction of state Highway 32 in Polk County.
Glenn K. Conrad, 45 of Alberta, Canada, was driving the semi east passing the 2006 Sterling plow, which was also driven east by Timothy B. Jagol, 43, of Fertile. Conrad lost visibility in the snow cloud thrown up by the plow and sideswiped the plow.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Neither was injured. The semi was severely damaged and the plow slightly damaged.
