Semi snarls mid-morning traffic near Park Rapids
A semi truck jack-knifed Monday on Highway 34 east of Park Rapids, causing mid-morning traffic to snarl westbound and east-bound lanes.

The truck was positioned across both lanes of traffic near the East Long Lake Drive turnoff.
No one was injured in the mishap that occurred at 10 a.m., but Hubbard County Sheriff's Department deputies were on the scene directing traffic around the obstructed lanes.
