He pleaded guilty to the charge June 2.

The charge stems from an incident that was reported at 1:55 a.m. Nov. 30, 2007, on the 19000 block of Plantation Road Southeast. The caller reported that there were shots being fired at a residence.

A vehicle had pulled up in front of the residence when a man exited the rear passenger side door and fired six or seven shots at the house before getting into the front passenger seat of the vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene.

At the scene, officers located seven spent 9 mm casings on the ground and also observed several shots that hit the residence and the ground. The shots appeared to be concentrated in the area of a central bedroom of the home.

Three adults and a child were in the house at the time, but no one was injured.

Seelye was found hiding in another house.

Seelye has a previous felony conviction for possession of an assault weapon.
