Farm Credit Service Scholarship: Seniors who are from an actively farming or ranching family OR are planning to pursue an agricultural degree. Deadline is March 1.
KFC Colonel's Scholarship: Seniors with a GPA of 2.75 or higher and are pursuing a bachelors degree. Apply online at http://www.kfcsholars.org. Deadline is Feb. 10.
US Bank Internet Scholarship: Seniors attending an accredited two or four-year college next fall. Apply online at usbank.com/studentloans. Deadline is Feb. 28.
America Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota Scholarship: Seniors who are sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of a veteran. Deadline is March 15.
National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association: Seniors who have a minimum GPA of B+ average, participated in two sports for at least two years in each, and one varsity letter in each of two sports. Deadline is Feb. 28.
North Country Health Services Auxiliary Scholarship: Seniors pursuing a career in a health related field, and not have been a previous recipient. Deadline is March 15.
AXA Achievement Community Scholarship: Seniors who show ambition and drive, respect for self, family and community, and ability to succeed in college. Download an application at www.axa-achievement.com. Deadline is Feb. 15.
Foundation of Rural Service: Seniors with at least a C grade point average, receive telecommunications service from Paul Bunyan Telephone and plan on returning to work in a rural area after graduation. Deadline is March 1.

Minnesota Association of Townships: Juniors who plan to further their education at a college, university, or vocational school. Deadline is May 1.

Tuesday: Boys and girls JV and varsity basketball will be at 6 and 7:30 p.m. against Clearbrook; girls junior high basketball will be at 5 p.m. in Clearbrook and all wrestling teams will travel to Deer River at to take part in the triangular with Thief River Falls at 5 p.m.
Thursday: Girls seventh, eighth grade, JV and varsity basketball will be at 5:45 p.m. in Bigfork.
Friday: Boys and girls JV and varsity basketball will be at 6 and 7:30 p.m. in Northome.
Adult Basic Education is held Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. at the Blackduck Resource Center.
Wednesday Night Volleyball is held at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. The fee is $3 per night.

Financial aid night set
The Kelliher Public School will be hosting a financial aid meeting Jan. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the school.
It will be held in the high school math classroom and is open to all Kelliher, Northome and Blackduck area seniors and their families. BSU Financial Aid Counselor Stephanie Bard will be in attendance to speak to the filing and preparation of the FAFSA and will answer questions as needed. Everyone is welcome to attend.
3-D Archery Shoot will be held Mondays starting Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. League starts Feb. 1 and will consist of two man teams. This is for anyone ages 12 and up but minors must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $95 for the season for members or $9.50 per night. For non-members, the cost is $120 for the season or $12 per night. Archers will met in the Old School Center.
Aerobics will be held Monday-Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the school gym. Bring a towel.
Open gym is Sundays from 3-5 p.m. The cost is $1 per person or $5 per family.
