TUESDAY, Dec. 8 - Fajita chicken, soft shell tortillas, fajita vegetables, lettuce and cheese, salas and fat free sour cream, corn, mixed fruit, bread slice, milk variety.

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 16 - Shrimp mates, mashed potatoes with butter, green beans, apple crisp, bread slice, milk variety.

THURSDAY, Dec. 17 - Chicken patty, whole grain bun, baked beans, french fries, ketchup or Miracle Whip, rosy applesauce, milk variety.

FRIDAY, Dec. 18 - Hamburger hotdish, garlic bread sticks, garden salad with cheese and croutons, Ranch or French dressing, pears, Scooby Doo grahams, milk variety.

Scholarships available

Washington Crossing Foundation: Seniors who are history buffs, enjoy politics, or are interested in government or military service. Visit: http://www.gwcf.org. Deadline is Jan. 15.

Farm Credit Service Scholarship: Seniors who are from an actively farming or ranching family OR are planning to pursue an agricultural degree. Deadline is March 1.

KFC Colonel's Scholarship: Seniors with a GPA of 2.75 or higher and are pursuing a bachelors degree. Apply online at http://www.kfcsholars.org. Deadline is Feb. 10.

US Bank Internet Scholarship: Seniors attending an accredited two or four-year college next fall. Apply online at usbank.com/studentloans. Deadline is Feb. 28.

America Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota Scholarship: Seniors who are sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of a veteran. Deadline is March 15.

National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association: Seniors who have a minimum GPA of B+ average, participated in two sports for at least two years in each, and one varsity letter in each of two sports. Deadline is Feb. 28

North Country Health Services Auxiliary Scholarship: Seniors pursuing a career in a health related field, and not have been a previous recipient. Deadline is March 15

AXA Achievement Community Scholarship: Seniors who show ambition and drive, respect for self, family and community, and ability to succeed in college. Download an application at www.axa-achievement.com. Deadline is Feb. 15

Foundation of Rural Service: Seniors with at least a C grade point average, receive telecommunications service from Paul Bunyan Telephone, and plan on returning to work in a rural area after graduation. Deadline is March 1

Alworth Scholarship: Seniors with a score of 25 or higher on their ACT, plan on a major in math or science, and in the top 20 percent of their class. Apply online at www.futuretakeflight.com. Deadline is Jan. 15

Dec. 17: Fifth-12th grade choir concert (sixth and seventh hour)

Dec. 24-Jan. 5: No school. Winter break.

Snowmobile Safety will be held Jan. 6, 7 and 9. The fee is $15.

Adult Basic Education begins Jan. 6 at 4:45 p.m. at the Blackduck Resource Center.

Wednesday Night Volleyball is at 7 p.m. and the fee is $3 per night.

Community Ed

Aerobics will be held Monday-Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the school gym. Bring a towel.

Open gym is Sundays from 3-5 p.m. The cost is $1 per person or $5 per family.
