The following scholarship applications are available in the high school office:

Wendy's High School Heisman: All Student-Athletes who work hard, are dedicated, and have become role models for your school's underclassmen. Online application is available at www.wendyheisman.com. The deadline is Oct. 1.

Prudential Spirit of Community Award: All students who volunteer in their communities. Apply online at http://spirit.prudential.com. Deadline is Nov. 2.

Coca-Cola Scholarships: Truly motivated, dedicated, and high school seniors. Apply online at www.coca-colascholars.org. Deadline is Oct. 31.

Oct. 14: PSAT test given to juniors and sophomores who are interested

Oct. 27: Junior and seniors can attend a career fair at Kelliher School at 8:30 a.m. and a representative from St. Scholastica will be in the student commons.

Oct. 28: 3:30 p.m., a representative from the University of Minnesota - Duluth will be in the student commons.

Oct. 29: 8:30 a.m., a representative from Itasca Community College will be in the student commons.

Community Ed

Flag football begins Sept. 29 from 4:30-6 p.m. on the elementary athletic field. The cost is $26.

Adult Spanish will be held Oct. 1, 6, 8, 13, 20 and 22 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The fee is $35.

K-2 Grade Spanish will be held Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 4:20-5:20 p.m. in high school room 258. The fee is $30. You must pre-register by Sept. 30.

Community Ed

Create Your Own Bead People Sept. 28 from 3:15-4:45 p.m. in the Kelliher School Commons. The fee is $6 which includes all supplies plus the storybook.

55 Alive eight-hour course is set for Oct. 6 and 8 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in the high school library. The fee is $18 and you must be pre-registered by Sept. 28. Checks for $14 are to be made payable to AARP and the $4 registration fee is to be made out to Kelliher Community Ed.
