Romaine salad with ham, cheese, croutons, mandarin oranges, Gogurt, bread slice, milk variety.

THURSDAY, Feb. 16 - Shrimp, mashed potatoes, butter, broccoli slaw, cherry crisp, bread slice, milk variety.

FRIDAY, Feb. 17 - Beef soft shell tacos with Lettuce, cheese, salsa and sour cream, corn, fresh apple, bread slice, milk variety.

SMART Board Presentation will be Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Jewelry Making Basics will be held Feb. 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The fee is $10 plus materials.

Knitting Mania will be held Feb. 28 from 6:30-8 p.m. The fee is $10 plus materials.

Ceramics will be held Feb. 28 and March 13 from 6-8 p.m. The fee is $10 plus materials.

Wednesday Night Volleyball will be held from 7-9 p.m. in the high school gym. This is for anyone age 16 and up and the fee is $3 per night.

Scholarships available

Scholarships available in the high school office:

Vernon J. Pick Foundation Scholarships: Seniors planning full-time college study in one of the general areas of sciences, mathematics, or engineering. Applicants have a GPA of at least 3.25 and a ACT score of 27 or higher. Deadline is March 30.

Blandin Foundation Education Awards: Anyone under the age of 25 as of Sept. 1, 2012, and plan on attending, any accredited educational institution in the United States. Deadline is May 1.

Youth Tour in Washington D.C.: Juniors whose parent/guardian is a Cooperative member of one of the Paul Bunyan Communications service exchanges. Deadline is April 1.

Foundation for Rural Service: Seniors who receive any telecommunications service from a current NTCA member and have at least a C grade point average. Deadline is March 1.

Important dates

Feb. 17: 8:30 a. m., Marines representative and 3:40 p.m., honor roll.

Feb. 27: Parent-Teacher conferences.

Zumba will be held every Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the little gym. This class is free of charge.
