Community Ed classes
GPS class will be held May 10 at 6 p.m. in the Blackduck High School Library. The fee is $5.
Metal Detecting will be held May 16 at 6 p.m. in the high school library. The fee is $5.
The File and Falls Prevention class will be held May 23 at 5:30 pm. in the high school library.
Indoor walking is held Tuesdays-Fridays when school is in session from 6:30-7:30 a.m. and 5:30-9 p.m.

ECFE open house
Kelliher area families with children ages birth to pre-kindergarten are invited to come and explore the early childhood classroom with their children and meet the teachers May 12 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Parents will also have the opportunity to help plan our program for the 2011-12 school year.

Early Childhood screening
The Kelliher School in cooperation with the Beltrami Nursing Service, Head Start and Learning Readiness will offer an Early Childhood Screening May 17 at the Old School Center. This screening is for children that are four years of age prior to January 1, 2012.
Any child entering a Minnesota public school (before the age of seven) is mandated to have participated in some kind of early childhood screening or a comparable screening from your doctor. You must provide proof of screening when you register for kindergarten.
The screening should take about two hours and the following components will be offered: vision, hearing, speech and developmental screenings, physical examination including lab tests if needed.
To save time at the screening, please bring your child's immunization records and health insurance information.
Head Start and Learning Readiness staff will be available during this screening to take applications.

Community Ed classes
Aerobics are held each Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Old School Center gym and is free.
There is open gym every Sunday from 3-5 p.m. in the Kelliher School gym. The fee is $1 per person or $5 per family.
