Schoolcraft is a local charter school that rents the French village at Concordia Language Villages.

Bemidji area community members have given $1,670 in donations to the foundation, which helped make the grant possible.

The school has hired a staff specifically to address students on conflict management and how to resolve concerns while at school and at home. Staff members have implemented the "I Can Teach" curriculum developed by Peacemaker Resources of Bemidji.

The school also has implemented schoolwide bullying policies, improvements to the school grounds and training for students in conflict resolution, peer counseling and assertiveness techniques.
