School district sells land to Lakeland

In a five-minute meeting Friday morning, the Bemidji School Board voted unanimously to sell a land parcel in the Lincoln South First Addition to Northern Minnesota Public Television, Inc. for $65,000. The buyer owns Lakeland Public Television.

School Board members agreed that it would serve no educational purpose for the district to retain the property, and it would be in the district and community's best interest to sell the property.
