School curriculum topic at LWV meeting

BEMIDJI – Curriculum standards for schools will be the subject for the League of Women Voters meeting.

Kathy Palm, curriculum and administrative services director for Independent School District No. 31, will talk about the subject at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Lueken’s North meeting room.
Palm will discuss how Bemidji schools measure up to state standards and how limited finances may affect curriculum. In addition, she may address Bemidji High School electives and how textbooks are chosen, according to a news release.
