School Board to review plans for H1N1 flu
Teachers will be keeping an eye out for students with symptoms of the H1N1 flu: fever, cough, runny nose, and body aches.
School nurse Sue Nokleby will report on the Bemidji School District plan for the H1N1 flu virus during the Bemidji School Board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, in the Bemidji High School Media Center.
The school board will also review a request from the Minnesota Department of Transportation relating to the proposed closure of two access points along U.S. Highway 71 in front of the Horace May Elementary School. The closure is part of a larger project to widen Highway 71.
In other business, the Bemidji School Board will:
- Report on class sizes and enrollment.
- Take action on staffing.
- Review the certification of school bus driver competencies.
- Take action on submission and acceptance of grants.
