Sanford offers free sessions on advance health care directives
BEMIDJI - Sanford Health, in coordination with national, state and community organizations, is leading an effort to highlight the importance of advance health care decision-making. Sanford Health will host free, public events about advance care planning and advance directive forms in the area throughout the month of April.
Sanford nurses and other professionals will offer information and tools on advance directives that are in accordance with state laws beginning Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Blackduck Senior Center.
Other stops will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kelliher Health Fair; 1-3 p.m. Friday in the Bemidji Sanford Health WindSong 3rd floor Craft Room; 1-3 p.m. April 23 at the Bemidji Senior Center; 1-3 p.m. April 24 at the Clearbrook Senior Center; 2-4 p.m. April 25 at the Bagley Senior Center; 2-4 p.m. April 26 at the Walker Senior Center; and 1-3 p.m. April 27 at the Cass Lake Senior Center.
