Sanford Health growing in EGF

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. -- Sanford Health says it has added a walk-in clinic to it’s East Grand Forks facility.

The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. It’s aimed at patients who need treatment for conditions such as sore throats, coughs, sprains, back pain, pink eye, dizziness, urinary tract infections, among other ailments, but can’t get an appointment with their primary-care provider.
Sanford Health says a walk-in clinic isn’t meant as a substitute for a primary-care provider, however.
Headquartered in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Fargo, the health care group says it has seen the number of patient visits grow at 10 percent a year the past five years. It has more than 40 employees, and 10 doctors and other health care professionals in East Grand Forks.
