Rudolph Corona, 63, of Red Lake, MN, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Red Lake Hospital, surrounded by loving family and friends after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 at the Red Lake Community Center with Father Jerry Rogers officiating. A wake will begin 12:00 noon, Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Red Lake Community Center until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake.

Rudolph White Corona was born November 1, 1949 in Grand Forks, ND to Jesus and Alice (White) Corona. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. He loved to hunt and fish, ride four wheeler, play keno and most of all spend time with family and grandchildren, and also enjoyed helping others. He was a very loving & caring father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was a jack of all trades, automobile mechanic and maintenance foreman for the elderly maintenance department for over 20 years.

He is survived by 4 daughters, Barbara Corona of San Antonio, TX, Denise Corona of San Antonio, TX, Linda Corona of San Antonio, TX and Tammi Stately of Red Lake, MN; 1 son, Arnold (Lisa) Stately of Red Lake; 1 brother, Robert Corona of San Antonio, TX; 7 sisters, Oralia (Lance) Hart of Red Lake, MN, Shirley Melo of San Antonio, TX, Mary (Santos) Alcozer of East Grand Forks, MN, Gloria Corona of Grand Forks, ND, Angelita Corona, San Antonio, TX, Anita Corona of Grand Forks, ND and Sharon (Eduardo) Gutierrez of East Grand Forks, MN; 2 step-daughters, Merri Jo Sumner of Red Lake, MN and Michelle Reynolds of Red Lake, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus V. and Alice M. (White) Corona; 3 brothers, Juan Corona, Jesus Corona III and Harold Corona; special friend, Connie Sumner.
