Robert Crandall, 57, of Bemidji MN was welcomed into Gods arms on Thursday August 1st 2013 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Lutheran Church, Bemidji MN, Friday, August 9th 2013 at 10:30 am with Pastor Linnea Papke-Larson officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Once diagnosed with liver cancer 18 months ago, Robert Crandall never gave up. He never complained, maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future even through radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He continued to be there for his wife Peggy and their two children, Robbie (Megan) Crandall, Teressia (Derek) Mutch and grandson Jameson Mutch while continuing to be involved in their lives and fighting bravely till the very end.
Robert dearly loved and enjoyed the many hours he spent with his family, friends and relatives. He will always be remembered for his passion for hunting, fishing, the outdoors and cooking. Robert was the rock of his family, incredibly knowledgeable, always there to lend a helping hand and had a wonderful sense of humor. Robert was an amazing husband, father and friend and he will be greatly missed.
