Robert "Bob" Vincent

Robert "Bob" Vincent, 80, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Northern Bible Church with Rev. Don Stolhammer officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Northern Bible Church and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji.

Robert LeRoy Vincent was born October 14, 1932 in Bemidji, MN to Claire and Elizabeth (Nelson) Vincent. He grew up in Northern Township where he attended Northern Elementary and graduated from Bemidji High School. After high school, he went to the St. Paul School of Agriculture. Bob entered the U.S. Army in 1955 and served until 1957. After his discharge he lived in Los Angeles, CA and Port Angeles, WA before moving back to Bemidji in 1963 where he has lived since. Bob never really retired. He worked as a meat salesman, owned and operated Economy Steel and Sun Rich Farm and partner of Prairie Lakes Seed. He was a member of the Northern Bible Chapel and was a Sunday school teacher and served on the church board.

He is survived by his sisters, Blanche (Royce) Weinert of Bemidji and Donna (Bill) Jackson of Bemidji and sister-in-law, Ilene Vincent of Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claire and Betty Vincent and brother, Claire Vincent Jr.
