Monday and Thursday: Bone Builders osteoporosis prevention exercise group meets at 4 p.m. Participation in the group is free and new people are welcome to join at any time. Another group meets at Faith Lutheran Church at 9 a.m. Mondays and Thursday. This program is also open to new members at any time. Phone 835-6386 for more information on the morning group.
Information, referral and advocacy services are free of charge at the service access office. Energy assistance applications are available as is help to prepare them for BI-CAP.
Applications and assistance with Minnesota Health Insurance programs such as MA and Minnesota Care, Food Support applications, and information concerning many needs is available. Service access is a program of Community Resource Connections, Inc. The Council on Non-profits.
The Resource Center's Service Access office will be open this week Tuesday from 8-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m.-noon and Thursday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Phone 835-5768.

Minnesota FluLine, a phone-based service is now available for Minnesotans who think they may have the flu. People may call toll-free 1-866-259-4655 for information, support, and treatment options.
A nurse will evaluate the health concerns of callers, using consistent criteria to determine which treatment option is most appropriate for each individual.
People who need information about the flu but do not have symptoms are also encouraged to visit the flu information page on the MDH website www.mdhflu.com.
