Replica biplane crashes into Superior Bay
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — No one was hurt when a replica biplane crashed into Superior Bay in Duluth.
St. Louis County Undersheriff Dave Phillips says the plane came in too fast and crashed into the water shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A chase boat was already in the water and immediately picked up the pilot and towed the plane to shore.
