Remer woman dies in two-vehicle accident

According to Cass County Sheriff Randy Fisher, Meranda L. Fineday, 28, of Remer, died in a two-vehicle head-on crash at approximately 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Cass County Road 157 near Remer.

She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Eric Grigsby, 33, of Cass Lake. Grigsby was airlifted to a Twin Cities area hospital with injuries. Two people in the other vehicle involved in the crash were injured and transported to hospitals.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol and Leech Lake Tribal Police assisted the Cass County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
