Red Lake woman slightly injured in U.S. Highway 2 crash

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the following call at noon Thursday.

At the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Scribner Road Northwest in Wilton Jacob A, Anderson, 19, of Tenstrike, was driving east on Highway 2 in a 2002 Subaru Impreza as Judith F. Beaulieu, 60, of Red Lake was driving north on Third Street in Wilton attempting to make a turn to the west onto Highway 2.

Beaulieu pulled out in front of Anderson's vehicle causing a collision in the intersection. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and Beaulieu's air bags deployed. She was slightly injured, but Anderson had no apparent injuries. Both vehicles were severely damaged.
