Red Lake to host Elders Summit

RED LAKE - Red Lake will host its second annual Elders Summit at Seven Clans Casino April 5-6. Event registration will begin at 8 a.m. April 5, with an event invocation and prayer ceremony by Spiritual Elder Eugene Stillday beginning at 9 a.m. Registration and events continue April 6 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The event will include informational booths, with intergenerational activities, a youth talent showcase and various presentations. The Red Lake Nation Royalty Exhibition, emceed by Johnny Smith, will take begin at 10:35 a.m. April 5, and the talent contest and cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the day April 6.
