Ray wins 60-and-over Shamrock Shuffle 5-km race

BEMIDJI - Richard Ray was the winner of Saturday's 5-km Shamrock Shuffle road race in the men's 60-and-over division.

Ray completed the race in 32:49. He was one of 370 area runners who participated in the 5-km and 10-km events.

Jenna Truedson was the overall women's winner in the 5-km with a time of 19:49. Trailing her were Kim Truedson (20:37) and Lexi Erickson (21:48).

Capturing the women's 10-km race was Jasmine Carlson who was clocked in 43:13. Andrea Nelson was second (46:28) and Kelsey Lene third (48:59).

The men's division overall winners were Sam Carlson in the 5-km (18:03) and Paul Kruger in the 10-km (39:35). Carlson was trailed by Anthony Morrow (18:20) and Jack Juberian (21:48). Finishing behind Kruger in the 10-km race were Matthew Wolf (40:33) and Eric Opheim (41:15).
