Bill and Joan Ranney will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Oct. 9, 1971, in Buffalo, Minn. Family and friends are invited to help them celebrate at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Destiny Fellowship (upstairs), 102 First Street W. (Union Square), for lunch, cake and ice cream. No gifts, please.
