Rainy weather doesn’t stop Water Carnival; events today include parade

BEMIDJI — The sun didn’t break through the over cast Saturday morning as people arrived for the Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival. But the weather didn’t prevent many from attending the carnival.

Saturday featured a Kids Run, followed by a Kiddie Parade.

There was live entertainment as well with Crosswater performing in the Entertainment Ten.

The five day event will conclude today, but there are still many things left to experience at the carnival.

There will be a Flapjacks for Firemen Pancake feed at 8 a.m. today at Classic Hard Times, with a Grand Parade later at 1 p.m.

There are also games and rides available for everyone at the Merriam Midway. They will be available today from noon-7 p.m.
