Rain pushes section softball tourney games to today

BEMIDJI - Wednesday's scheduled opening two rounds of the Section 8-3A softball tournament in Bemidji have been postponed until today.

Rocori and Moorhead were scheduled to battle Wednesday afternoon and that winner was to face Bemidji in a 6 p.m. start.

Wednesday's rain and the forecast for more showers throughout the day forced tournament officials to postpone the games for today.

Rocori, the seventh seed, and Moorhead, the 10th seed, will meet at 4 p.m. and that winner will face the No. 2 seeded Lumberjacks at 6 p.m.
