Rain doesn't spoil Backwoods Bash

The 5K Run, Walk, Waddle and Flop event kicked off the fifth annual Blackduck Backwoods Bash Aug. 15. Walkers and runners, young and old, participated. The course utilized the new bike trail which is almost completed.2 / 4
The 3-Darchery shoot brought out participants from all over the area, hoping to get some target practice in before the rains came. While the turnout was light, trophies were handed out to the top winner of the youth division and the open class categories. See page 8 for more Bash pictures.3 / 4
The ominous rain clouds in the background did not deter people from lining the streets of Blackduck for the parade. The Blackduck Fire Department and it's line of trucks was an awesome sight as they made their way down Main Street, complete with flashing lights and sirens wailing.4 / 4
